How to prevent tooth decay?

Tooth decay is one of the most common oral health problems, but the good news is that it can be effectively prevented.

  • Limit the number of snacks between main meals. Each snack throughout the day creates an ideal environment for the bacteria that cause cavities to multiply.
  • Replace sugary drinks with plain water. Sugar is a major food source for bacteria and significantly increases the risk of cavities. Water helps wash away food debris and freshen your breath.
  • Don't forget to clean between your teeth with a toothbrush and floss. A toothbrush alone is not enough, and decay most often forms in the interdental spaces.
  • Brush your teeth at least twice a day, ideally in the morning and evening. Regular and thorough brushing removes plaque and bacteria that can damage your tooth enamel.

Start incorporating these tips into your daily routine, and your teeth will thank you with a healthy and beautiful smile!
